Look at the Clay Matthews R.T.P. that cost them a win.

And in my own humble opinion that was a textbook tackle. Like I said, change the rule. You cannot tackle the QB. Period. Also, the QB may not advance the ball beyond the LOS except via passing. If he's that important then fine, but make it fair. A 250+ pound grown man cannot violate physics to accommodate Rogers stupid rule.

Onyemata is appealing the fines today. There is a stipulation in the CBA that states a player cannot be fined more than 25% of their weekly salary. He was fined in excess of $40k and his weekly salary is $39K plus change. He should be able to get the fines reduced.

Not sure where the league is headed with these type of bogus calls. This isn't the game I remember from the early 90s.

It was a bad day for kickers in that Pack/Vikes game as well.

The league is hell bent. As I'm sure you've heard they're actually going to use that horrible horrible call that cost GB the game as a textbook what not to do example. It was a textbook tackle. It's a joke, and the NFL isn't going to walk it back. My kids, if they watch football at all, may very well be watching a different league not filled with panzies.

I was just listening to Moving the Chains with Pat Kirwan and Jim Miller. Miller went off big time on these horrible calls. He said this isn't football anymore and said that the fans are pissed and he is pissed by this ... he wanted to say bull**** so badly ... and then just said "BS".

And don't forget, Jim Miller was a QB.

I follow Kurt Warner on Twitter and he said the same thing. Basically he said he is all for offense, but this isnt even fair anymore. The Matthews call was total BS, but the league is not backing off even a little bit. Dont know what the answer is, but they need to relax the current rules or just put flags on the QB's and receivers.

Onyemata may be the first player forced to retire because he couldn’t afford to play in the NFL anymore.

Exactly. Miller and Kirwan said the league is making up the rules as the games go on. Keep in mind, this is on a radio station OWNED by the NFL.
