this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I didn't get to watch the game (away at daughter's softball event), but looking at the stats it seems like if the Browns had a sturdy kicker this game wouldn't even been in reach....

We are not a good team right now. Can't depend on a Kicker to miss 4 times to win games. They also got into FG position in less than 30 seconds & 1 timeout. A below average team beats us today. Thankfully we were playing the Browns. |

I think it's time for all of you that doubt to shut it down and not watch for a week. It would be better for your health and would help us that believe to concentrate and give our good vibes to OUR team.

Worry away. For what good it does. Come next week I'll be right there expecting the best. My expectation when met far exceeds all others.

Re: 6 takeaways from the Saints' victory over the Browns
It's early in the season. We always start slow. Our defense looked like **** early last year as well. We have a lot of new guys and we're trying to fit all the pieces together. In the early part of the season especially, a win is a win.

Can we not waste all the champagne on week 2 against the Browns?

Crawley actually played better than Lattimore, that 47 yard td wasn't his fault that the safety didn't cover up high. His job was to cover underneath
