Re: Josh Gordon
Then isn't everyone an addict? Some people are addicted to their work, some people are addicted to food, some people are addicted to tea/coffee, some people romance, some people gardening, sleeping, alcohol. Everyone is an addict. When people remove one of them from their lives, they usually just replace it with another. Some addictions are more physically threatening than others. Some people also live more balanced lives(doing a little of everything). I don't think anyone can really escape the "addict" label though.

Re: Josh Gordon
Its just a red flag to me that after all the chances he has had he doesn't show up for camp. That just doesn't sound at all like a team player.

Re: Josh Gordon
I for one would give him a chance. Weed is not that big a problem to me but you have to follow the rules and to be able to make that kind of money just give it up for a while and make those paychecks. Not sure what is going on with Meredith or Smith. Not sure what is going on with Bree's He really had a bad game. This team really knows how to stink it up offense was horrible Cleveland has a better defense than advertised but a horrible job by the "O"

Re: Josh Gordon
I don't have a problem calling him if he is cut. I wouldn't trade anything for him though.
Get him in sign him and help keep him clean. As soon as he pops on a test you can him. For those of you who wouldn't sign him... INGRAM. |

Ingram's going to come back looking for that final big contract. I fully expect him to not only come back, but to ball out in the last 12 games. So in short, no extra chance for Gordon. SFIAH |

Apparently with Gordon he had violated the substance abuse policy on multiple occasions and has displayed behavior of someone who suffers from an addiction. All the suspensions and money in the world can’t help that. In his case a behavior pattern. The only person who can help Gordon is Gordon. Apparently he either cannot or will not stick with his rehabilitation program. I doubt the Browns would have let him go if he was serious about sobriety. It’s not like they don’t need all the good players they can get. |

Re: Josh Gordon
Pats get him for a 5th rounder. He’ll have a career year.

Re: Josh Gordon
Nope. Dude just doesn't get it. Serious addict. This is his shot, IN HIS LIFE, to make millions of dollars. He can't stay sober. He tweaks his hammy on a photo shoot? It's ALL right in front of him. Spelled out in black and white. And he just can't get it.
