How the Saints handled having multiple players wear the communication device on defense last week

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Don't know who here has played in the back half of a defense (i.e. linebacker, corner, safety), but it's a lot like playing six-man volleyball... There's a certain chemistry that needs to develop among players, understanding tendencies, reaction times, etc... ...

There's a certain chemistry that needs to develop among players, understanding tendencies, reaction times, etc... Lack of chemistry results in guys looking at each other with that thought you had it look at each other as the ball falls between them or receiver runs past 'em... It's been great that we have guys cross-trained to other linebacking positions, but at some point, you've got to pick some guys and roll with 'em, let 'em gel... saintfan, Rugby Saint II and ChrisXVI like this.
