You beat me to it, Rugby. But, yes, I agree. It's too logical not to be the reason.

OMG! I knew I recognized that coaching pattern from somewhere. That was it. :stupid:

Back to the OP...

I'm also worried that Carr won't survive on PS. With Meredith finally ready to play, do we risk Smith on PS?

As for 'risking' Hill back there, pretty much everything we have asked him to do falls under the risk category. Sure-handed, big, and smart. He'd be my choice.
Just please not Kamara or Ginn

Smith would be long gone if we tried to move him to the PS.

So these multi millionaires can't handle their jobs getting harder as they progress in their careers?

If I want to be paid more I have to learn new information, new skills and do more work. These guys are earning millions of dollars and seem to get confused when they run something other than "man coverage."

It's their job to learn new schemes and become better/more intelligent players.

Perhaps they aren't as intelligent as you or I or others. Or perhaps their management is not putting them into the position to succeed.

Yet, as others have pointed out. Some players leave and produce. Go figure.

Well since many of them attend college at football factories that let them slide big time when it comes to academics. For every Cam Jordon you have three who can’t complete a coherent sentence. Lattimore seems to be one of them.
Maybe I’m just down on him for throwing the offense under the bus after the Browns game. He said something to the effect of “since our offense wasn’t getting it done we had to step up”

Blitzing from somewhere for real. Would love to see a stat line of a sack, a pass td, a run td, a reception and a blocked kick.

Not doubting you, but do you have some sort of link to that statement? I'm wanting to see the actual wording or context, but I can't find it.

I remember him being asked something about the importance of Williams' interception in the fourth quarter and him saying something about how the defense had to make a stop at that point. He may have even used the term "step it up", but I can't find it. I have noticed that he does use that term quite a bit.
