Saints will handle task of replacing Patrick Robinson on 'week to week' basis

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; And to think....all the versatile CBs and Safeties we drafted are on other teams. Now we are stuck with Bell and Coleman, which neither of can remotely began to cover a WR or TE in space...great job front office......

I have been questioning the free agent scouting department for years. We have had some success with mid tier free agents like Robertson, Teo and Kelemete. We've hit on Warford, Watson, Okafor, P Rob and Ginn who was successful last year but dropped off badly this year. However, we miss more often than we hit!

I think that is the next department to get a shake up.

We have what we have. Losing Robinson may hurt, but I would expect either small or big nickel packages based upon our opponent's strengths with what we have on staff. At this point of the NFL season impact players available on the open market (that fit into cap constraints) are rare.

I have a feeling we are going to do the best with what we have. We'll see.
