This is how things get all tangled up. The man has the right to believe as he wishes and (to an extent) express himself accordingly. This is fundamental. But, everybody is so worked up now that people are calling him an idiot.
That's no bueno folks. IMO he's crossing a line if he brings it to the field, but otherwise he has every right and we'd all better support that, even if we disagree. |

No problem with his outfit...this is America. Wear what you want. I have been to Africa, and I've been all over America, so I have an observation: America > Africa. If he wants to move himself to Africa, he is certainly free to do so.
But I wouldn't advise it over living in the U.S. |

I like the idea. I plan to visit Ghana and South Afrika soon. Ghana is giving out free land and citizenship to Afrikans in America as a form of restitution for the slave trade. We could do a lot of over there with what we’ve learned here with a well-executed and properly planned exodus. Good for you Kamara.

Re: Kamara ruffling some feathers
Ghana caught my interest when I found about the land thing. Plus a lot of people were taken from that area, and with us not being able to pinpoint on our heritage, I try to learn as much as I can about West Afrikan civilizations. My cousin just came from South Afrika. He was there for years. He really loved it. He only came back because all of our family is here. When you have money, anywhere can be nice. I know what the continent can and should be, and I want to help it realize it’s potential.

Re: Kamara ruffling some feathers
Really fascinating information Rez! Thanks for the insight. I had a co-worker for a few months who was from Mali and I loved talking to him about his experiences and the things he missed about home. He was adamant that I would love it there.

Re: Kamara ruffling some feathers
Mali was one of the greatest nations I’ve ever read about.
