Unless Brees has told the organization he isn't playing past 2019,'I don't get this Bridgewater signing outside of a cheap 1 year insurance policy.

No way in hell we sign Bridgewater to that number plus still have Brees on the books in 2019.

Brees is having the best start to this season of his entire career. He's not going anywhere from a talent drop off perspective. He's easily got 4 years left, minimum.

My guess is Bridgewater is going to be playing for another team next year.
