Marcus Davenport says he hasn’t given up on playing this week vs. Rams. Has a boot on his right foot. Big toe injury occurred in third quarter on strip-sack attempt of Cousins. #Saints

Please don't rush him back too soon. Remember, a big toe issue held Ingram back the first couple of years. This could really affect his first step off the line of scrimmage.

Settle down big boy! Time to hit the film room while you heal!

Better a simple fracture than a Lisfrance...

Tough slate of LT’s coming up too with Andrew Whitworth and Jason Peters.

This still cracks me up because I thought I was the only one thinking this way...

Re: Saints' Marcus Davenport: Dealing with toe injury

I really don't think it's a fracture because he would not be ready if he had to rehab a broken toe in a month especially a big toe. It could be a bad sprain with somewhat of a turf issue. I know because I have had that toe broken twice. The first when I was young I was able to go back to work after about 4 weeks the first time but was like light duty.
