Watched the game again. P.J. was looking for the football in this game. That long throw to Cooks, P.J. played that marvelously. Turned his head around and never left the sight of the football. Nice adjustments in his game. Coaches must have helped him work on his weaknesses.

Super impressed with how PJ has overcome his adversary and kept fighting.

HOW THE SAINTS WON THE GAME
Score 35-35 and the Saint finally got the ball back the crowd started yelling "Who Dat say they gonna beat them Saints?" "Who Dat say they gonna beat them Saints?" "Who Dat say they gonna beat them Saints?" "Who Dat say they gonna beat them Saints?" "Who Dat say they gonna beat them Saints?" "Who Dat say they gonna beat them Saints?" That was when both the offense and the defense took over the game again. It was around 11:00 minutes left in the 4th quarter when a fire was lit under their asses. |

Re: PJ Williams - Thank You
But the D line is....and coupled with the LB play, we are making teams one-dimensional. As the Saint's learned during the string of 7-9 seasons, big passing numbers don't = wins, even with the GOAT on the field. We have tough games remaining but likely won't face another Goff until the NFC title game.

Saints D stat worth noting ...
Only 2 penalties Saints D held the Rams to 3 of 8 on 3rd down. Saints D held the Rams to 0-2 on 4th down. Against that Rams offense, I'll take it. |
