As far as Marshall he's been on some dismal teams the last few years. As for the Seahawks, Pistol Pete cleaned house everybody left for good or bad teams. |

Fortunately he's a smart rookie. He plays. He does his job. He blocks. And he doesn't complain about it. I believe he understands that if Thomas or Kamara or Ingram or Watson are open, Brees will get them the ball because they are higher up the progression tree than he is. Brees only has 9 sacks this season, and none in the last 3 games, because he throws the ball to the first open guy in the progression. That's why I think Marshall's contribution will be about as insignificant as the other WR. Thomas lives up to his Twitter handle: CantGuardMike. SFIAH |

Re: Saints to Sign WR Brandon Marshall This Week
Marshall may not have a ton left, however #9 and SP will get the absolute most out of him. The level of play always increases in NO with our QB & HC regardless of playing time, age or ability.
Depth, a proven vet and large big body frame for red zone targets. This could open up for slot guys & TE down the road. Welcome to NO Brandon |

So, assuming Marshall has something between the ears besides air, he'll make a contribution. |
