this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; ... would you purchase tickets to it? We all know what a lot of Eagles fans did last year in order to go. Some had to mortgage their homes to finance trips down to Jacksonville to see their Eagles play. ...

If the Saints got to the Superbowl...
... would you purchase tickets to it?
We all know what a lot of Eagles fans did last year in order to go. Some had to mortgage their homes to finance trips down to Jacksonville to see their Eagles play. Would we consider these measures to go see the Saints attempt to win a Superbowl? Do you think we'll ever have the opportunity to attend one for the Black and Gold? |

Since I hav season tickets I guess I would be in he lottery for superbowl tix. If I could get them at face value (still expensive) I would probably go to the game but I would not scalp tickets -- Of course I would have to seriously consider selling them -- it would be tough to run down the kind of money people get on the open market

I'd look for a superbowl party on Bourbon street as well. There're would be no way i'd be able to get tickets and the party would probably be better.

I would spend upwards of $500 for a ticket but thats my max. Also, it would depend on what city it was in. Jacksonville or Detroit NO WAY. Miami, L.A. YES. New Orleans ABSOLUTELY!

.. with 1/3 the money you'd spend going to the SB, you could buy yourself a 60+ inch DLP HDTV and get a much better view of the game... plus you get to keep the TV...
.. I would much rather party on Bourbon all week than in, say, Jacksonville... |

With the money I make from the sale of my kidney, i'll go first class to the Superbowl, come back and still buy that 60 inch TV, and watch the game again.

I'd sell my first born....j/k.
Seriously there's not much I wouldn't do to make it to that SB if the Saints were playing. The value of the ticket is for the experience to be a part of history, and the Saints getting to(and possibly winning) is history that would probably not be repeated for some time. |
