On to the Iggles

Their injuries at CB does not bode well for them. Even the Panties fans feel the same.

"Who cares? We play Detroit this week. The Saints and Panthers aren't in the same class right now. Our competition is the wild card race." -JccOldTime23 (Panthers fan)

Truer words have not been said. I still worry about the Panthers (in Carolina) but when their own fans point out the discrepancy in abilities I feel like we got this.

The Feagles offense isn't awful, and still have good pieces on the D line however they will suffer on those boundaries. Expect SP, #9 and #13 to target weaknesses.

If the Saints play up to their potential, we'll rack up another W possibly in convincing fashion.

Keep the foot on the gas & throat.

I know it has zero to do with us, but I was hoping they would beat Dallas last night.

Smeagles lost the magic of the ring. It messed with their heads.

Cover Ertz. Cover Tate (huge Saint slayer). Run it like Elliott did last night. Keep Brees clean. No major special teams blunders. Win.

Repeat of the Rams game minus the 21 point recovery!

Re: On to the Iggles

I expect them to play with some fire and be salty after hearing everyone write them off all week. Ertz is a real headache to cover. But they have a poor running game this year so Wentz is going to have to do it all. It's doubtful he can in the Superdome.

Re: On to the Iggles

Vegas has the Saints as 7 point favorites, but that does not mean as much as the over/under, which is 54.
Those in the know expect points, which is good for us

Take the over in the dome.

Saints look like Golden State right now. Good luck slowing em down in the dome.

Philly is gonna get their asres whipped like if we would have made the SB last season. They don’t resemble no Super Bowl team if u ask me

Re: On to the Iggles

Everything on paper says we should beat this team. I hope Sean has the team staying far away from the cheese sticks. The Eagles will come to play, and their offense doesn't suck.

Agree with the post above. We should have been the team to beat them last year. Maybe coach will use that to motivate. Hoping our guys keep their laser focus and take it to these people in our house.

Re: On to the Iggles

Hate to say it but I think a loss may not be a detrimental thing. Especially if Carolina and the Rams drops another one. These guys need to know they aren’t invincible and they are going to need to keep up the hard work to get another ring. Hopefully this doesn’t have to happen but if it does I’d rather it be to Steelers.

The Dude 11-13-2018 12:59 AM

Re: On to the Iggles

With this offense The only thing the team needs to do in order to beat any team out there is wind up plus one in the turnover ratio and force 2 punts. Our offense is good enough to score on just about every possession.

Dude....what is a matter with you? A loss is a detrimental thing. Not only is it a loss, but it can change the psyche. The whole momentum could change. I want them to think they are invincible.

It was Vitt, not Payton, who was caught taking Vicodin from the team’s medicine locker. Idiots don’t know any better. Morons.

A loss now would be a HUGE thing. We lose on Sunday and it gives the Rams even more incentive to win on Monday night. While we'd have the tie breaker they'd move a full game ahead of us because of our second loss.

We need to focus on each game as if it was the Super Bowl on the line because home field will be what gets us there.

I think Wentz is the most dangerous QB we've faced so far this season.

Don't underestimate the Eagles, they won't just lay down.

I think you're right, and I hope our defense can figure a way to get some pressure on him and force him to move around and (hopefully) make a few mistakes. Our secondary better bring its "A" game.

I think you're right about Wentz. Good thing we already cut our teeth on Matt Ryan and Jared Goff. We'll be ready.

Wonder if Davenport will be back. If he returns and picks up where he left off I think we are good on that front.
