in this division i think anybody can finish last and anybody could finish first, I think we go 9-7 miss playoffs to Detroit(tie-breaker)!

Subguy!!!! Dude, if you'll come back, I'll change the avatar. I'll make it a stinking flower or something, even a fleur de lis, whatever you pick... nah, alright, reality check. Subguy or no subguy, the avatar stays. It brings heart palpitations to JoeSam, and that can't be thrown away lightly.

Still, though, nice to see you resurrected. I thought you were dead, or worse, a newly born Falcons fan....

Perhaps it's because that's pretty much what this team has consistently delivered. Sure, some offseason moves have, on paper improved the team. But nothing earth shattering. And the NFC South is very competitive. All the teams have made moves to improve. The core of the Saints team is the same. Why expect a hugely different result? To just about everyone else in the league the Saints are "THE UNDER ACHIEVERS". Good enough talent to do better...but they don't. Why go out on a limb and predict that this year is the year for a breakthrough?

As for me...Saints 9-7 and in the playoffs...hey, I'm a fan.
