RE: let
We have the Smiths, Grant, and McKenzie. Otherwise lots of holes and/or unknowns. Say what you will but every LB spot is an unknown. I think Watson and Colby did well last year, but they need to do better still. Outside of the rookies, the rest of the LBs and the secondary is like two-days-expired milk - you never know just what you're gonna get.

RE: let
First of all, I completely agree with you about our WRs. They are so talented, but nobody has stepped up and done jack except for Joe. Donte and Devery haven't proved anything and I hope they do this season.
Anyways, about that defense.......I believe our DEs are some of the best in the game. I love Charles Grant and I think Will Smith is going to turn out to be a stud, and Howard is a solid player too. The DTs suck. Sullivan hasn't proved anything yet, and Brian Young has been mediocre. Last time I checked we have a high quantity of DTs behind them, but not high quality. Our LBs are awful. I'm still not sold on Bockwoldt. I think Watson can turn out to be serviceable. SLB is a total mystery to me. Our CBs are very good. I love McKenzie, and I think that Brown can be a solid starter. Our safeties worry me. I remember when we picked up Tebucky Jones from the Pats and I was all excited because he was supposed to be a great safety, and then he got to NO and just totally sucked. I hope Dwight Smith doesn't turn out like that. Bellamy is old, but I think he's still a good player. Overall, our defense has a lot to prove. Hopefully they'll come out with a chip on their shoulders and wanna prove all their doubters wrong. |

we have been the worst D in the league over the last three years, and still are until we prove otherwise. Mainly cause of the play-calling/D-coordinator. I think we have the talent on that side of the ball. especially after the additions of McKEnzie and Smith, but i am still worried scheme wise.
