They looked flat, and tired. Things that are normally easy for the Saints, seemed extremely difficult that night. It was like they were operating in a heavier gravity than the Cowboys. Think Clausewitz and "The friction of war." Everything in war is very simple," Clausewitz wrote, "but the simplest thing is difficult." That's what that game felt like.
