When it's just Armstead, there's minimal difference; in fact, the best offensive performance (CIN) he left very early... But 44, by that rationale, Peyton Manning or Tom Brady should've been selected to Pro Bowls the seasons they each were injured - they're great, that doesn't mean they deserve it if they're not playing? No. Armstead, using Coach Payton's phrase, has not been available for eight (8) full games in a season since he got his big contract... Armstead may look like he's got more but GS means Games Started and that doesn't mean he finished; rather a guy Start/Finish min. 14 games, grading B+ than eight at A-... Playing offensive line, shuffling every week is a strain on that unit's chemistry - so it's noteworthy that what Brees/Unger/Ramczyk/Peat/Warford/Player To Be Named, is that much more impressive... It's not his occasional flashes of talent I've questioned, it's his toughness and durability that is problematic and best and why we should've traded him and his contract two years ago... Or even a year ago when Ramczyk showed he was more durable and just as effective... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
