Re: Saints vs Panthers Game Day Thread
I'm thinking the only thing SP is thinking about is giving Teddy a load of pass plays. I don't think he cares what the score is.

The same and more to be said of the QB we will probably never see again. Further, there's a reason a QB who hasn't played before in the NFL, switched teams or hasn't played in some time sometimes fairs better for a few games or half a season... it is because there is limited tape for Defenses to pick up their tendencies, etc. That's why there is a sophomore slump. It is not because the QB all of sudden ****s the bed and forgets how to play it is because defenses have a lot of tape to look at and develop specific ways to defend them. I would never take serious someone looking at one game and asserting that game is indicative of how someone will play next week, next year, etc. The same goes with an NFL season. You look at the entire body of work. You don't look at each week and decide someone is a SB contender this week, but if they lose next week they're the worst team since sliced bread. That happens far too often. You're doing that here, in my opinion. |
Your team stinks

Teddy hasn’t looked great.. this was supposed to be a big game from him so I expected more.. so far, not impressed with Teddy.

Re: Saints vs Panthers Game Day Thread
Going to be more interesting to see what teams win this afternoon, see how the playoff brackets shape up.

Re: Saints vs Panthers Game Day Thread
I have to admit though would love to see Teddy throw a few TD's in the 2nd half.
