Re: Frank D'Amico files lawsuit against Goodell
I know you are. You asked a question and I answered it. Your going on and on in an attempt to prove me wrong about a statement that started with “Maybe it is because”.... Maybe means just that, maybe. You are proving a lot but maybe it’s not what you are trying to prove.
Have a fantastic day brother! |

That has nothing to do with whether or not you have any qualms about taking up a righteous cause. You either have a problem with that, or you don't. I'm not an idiot, Oak. I know you're going to say that I'm telling you you're wrong again, but in fact, all I'm doing is telling you I got your point, and you ARE wrong to try to twist this into something it isn't.
Your statement, itself, I was NOT trying to prove you wrong on. You believe that the definition of "righteous" is all in the eye of the beholder. I'm giving you my opinion that it is not. I'm defending you, and your status as a veteran. Whatever misgivings you might have, I'm trying to tell you that the cause is right. The outcome might not always be what we want, and the fallout is going to effect each person differently. If you take offense to that and only see it as an argumentative, "I'm right, you're wrong" type of thing, then I'm sorry you see it that way. The way I see it, I'm just trying to help you see something you might not have considered. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

RULE SUMMARY VIEW OFFICIAL RULE
USE OF THE HELMET It is a foul if a player lowers his head to initiate and make contact with his helmet against an opponent. Note: The tackle box no longer exists once the ball leaves the tackle box. Penalty: Loss of 15 yards. If the foul is by the defense, it is also an automatic first down. The player may be disqualified. The NFL pays meticulous attention to every detail that goes into putting on a professional football game — LEAGUE GOVERNANCE Ensuring a consistent and fair game that is decided on the field, by the players. Also need to inquire why Vinovich, who clearly saw the infraction, did not conference w/ refs involved. Vinovich needs to go also. The officiating in the NFL has been so sh1tty for the last several years, that it has been hard to watch any game that doesn't involve the Saints. I hope he and the league can afford the protection/security he'll nee, the next time he's in the Dome. Hey Roger the Dodger; I ain't watching your sorry ass SB 53; and you can also count my absence to the Pro Bowl, you ruined years ago. |

Re: Frank D'Amico files lawsuit against Goodell
You mean accept the screw job and pretend nothing happened? Sorry dude, I don't get my marching orders from ESPN. I've been following the Saints for all 52 years of their existence, and what I saw Sunday has ruined it for me unless changes are made and people are held accountable for their actions. Referees who can't do a better job than that need to be fired. Assuming they aren't following orders from on high to fix the outcome. Might as well watch WWE if they are. The NFL is a joke unless they fix this crap now.
