Sit back and watch the NFL price itself out of business.

That is nowhere close to happening. Their revenues continue to climb every year and legalized sports gambling will even make them climb that much faster.

So this doesn’t appear to be an option we’re even exploring. Why not take a shot on Muhammad Wilkerson?

I realize NFL revenue will increase. DB'S, LB'S DL'S WR'S are starting to get what used to be "Elite QB" contracts. If that trend continues the salary cap has to grow with the NFL revenue for teams to survive. If not teams will have to "reload" through the draft.

The salary cap is already tied to the league's revenues (between 47% to 48.5%). That's why the increase in salaries is pretty meaningless to the league's bottom line. The CBA demands that the owners increase salaries as the revenues increase.

Saints are bringing in Kayvon Webster, Coty Sensabaugh, Prince Charles Iworah per various sources - all are there to churn up the competition for the reserves at CB...

Actually, not so much because he's cheap as he'll likely be on uber-good behaviour pre-trial, and maybe probation afterwards...

We need DT3 help - we're this close, this window for Drew is nearly gone, Payton's over-paid in the draft to this point...

Don't "get by" with a big defensive end at DT3, don't gamble on Rankins' medicals, get that extra DT3 and reload...
