Tune in to a Ticats’ broadcast and you probably won’t see much of Delvin Breaux. That’s the mark of a great defensive back, as the Tabbies’ top defender erases opposing top receivers week in and week out. Breaux is quite possibly the only true ‘shutdown’ corner in the pass-happy Canadian game.

He's up for free agency. Proved that he's healthy enough to play out a full season. Was once again one of the top DB's in the CFL. His salary was only around 200k. He knows our system, our team, and our coaches.

I'd love it, if he were healthy, available; but are there Trust Issues?

He played all last year for the Ti-Cats in the CFL. Healthy = Check
He is a Free Agent, so now is the chance for him to move back to the NFL. Available = Check
Trust Issues? Don't think that there are any. Last Year's article notes this... also the Saints fired the two doctors who misdiagnosed. So IMO, Trust Issues = N/A

Breaux has remained in love with the team even after the Saints team doctors put his career in jeopardy with a horribly embarrassing misdiagnosis of a severe fibula injury. Breaux still wanted to be a Saint, even after the team floated his name around the league looking for trade offers. At this very moment, as the team sets their focus on upgrading the roster talent while ignoring Breaux’s availability, Breaux still remains hopeful that the New Orleans Saints will give him another chance to make a return on the investment they made in him.
