Anyone still want Josh Rosen?
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I recall Payton Manning's first year. When he screwed up (often) it was written off as rookie mistakes in that 3-13 season. Brees was not the starter his rookie campaign. Doug Flutie commanded the ship. Brees didn't turn the corner ...

I recall Payton Manning's first year. When he screwed up (often) it was written off as rookie mistakes in that 3-13 season.
Brees was not the starter his rookie campaign. Doug Flutie commanded the ship. Brees didn't turn the corner for a few years. He wasn't written off either until the injury. Mayfield was not the starter either. Then they had a coaching change mid season and a starting RB change in Chubb. Totally changed the dynamics of that team. Rosen will be fine. He needs time to develop and a better organization. I agree though, he looks like a damp firecracker right now but not any different than Manning and Brees out the gate. As for his hat politics, nobody cares about hats. I hate the hats of all teams we play. |
