The 2019 salary cap will be $188.2 million

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; We gotta let Peat go. We can’t be paying both guards $8+ mil. Take the above mentioned Patriots method and let the FA walk while we plug in someone else....

Agreed. I like Peat, and consider him an underrated, miscast player (a theme in Payton's tenure); but Warford was a terrible consolation signing and it's gonna cost us again with Peat...

Playing next to Armstead, Peat has had to prepare to play two positions for most of the last three years which is as much a testament to his ability as his toughness in playing hurt, unlike Mr. Glass...

Drafting those Pac12 players and their quarters schedule system continues to appear to be problematic for many players transitioning to the NFL...

In Peat's selection, it was more a failure of Payton/Mickster failing to move out of that spot (up or down) and taking good value at the right spot to fill the right need...

As nervous as it'd make Brees, I'd move everyone but Unger & Ramczyk (except to LT), and get this line younger, leaner, meaner, keeping the wily veteran Unger to bring them along...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

We all know by now that Sean Payton doesn't have the patience to wait until #62 overall. It will be interesting to see if a trade is made and use future picks.

By the way, the Pats have 12 picks in the upcoming draft.

Damn man .

Payton likes to hurry up and get back to other things...

Too bad he doesn't have a strong value for draft currency as the Patriots do...

And it doesn't help having Mickey "Rubberstamping Yes-Man" Loomis as GM...
