Exactly. Nothing would surprise me. We were so close if there is ANY way we could get someone proven at an area of need I hope we do whatever it takes.

Really get the feeling Payton will bankrupt this team in draft capital then walk away and we'll miss out on several good players, perhaps franchise players,

...all because we lack a strong GM with a grounded vision...
