Getting intrigued by Texas DE Charles Omenihu. Measured 6-5, 280 with 36” arms and played a variety of spots from 3 to 9-technique.

The Saints met with the following:

QB Jordan Ta’amu
WR DaMarkus Lodge
LT Greg Little

In the right system and coaches, I think Lodge could become a better pro than Metcalf. DL is a good kid, watched him grow at Cedar Hill High (outside of Dallas) and zero red flags. If he can master the route tree, he could surprise some.

(Misdirection) Let's not forget TE Dawson Knox and CB Kenny Webster, don't think the Saints haven't been watching film on those guys...

Many analysts are saying he’s the more polished and pro-ready of the Ole Miss WR’s due to his excellent blocking and ability to get a clean release from press coverage. It’s entirely possible that he could still be there at our 5th round pick.

According to Tony Pauline we’re also showing a lot of interest in UCF DT Trysten Hill. There are some character concerns with him... Clashing with the coaching staff led to less and less playing time. Maybe Tre’Quan Smith can vouch for him.

Don't underestimate that last part, Payton places great weight with folks in-house or that he knows (too much imo, he should trust his eyes and scouting)...

The first pick Yahoo mocks to us would truly suck...
