Something that makes me wonder....
How come none of Payton's assistances are ever hot picks during the off season to replace coaches? Teams were jumping up and down to find the next Sean McVay interviewing young guys and people from McVay's coaching staff, but Carmichael has been here for years I would think he has a lot more experience than guys like Matt LeFluer and that young guy that the Bengals hired. I would've thought by now that there would be members of Payton's coaching staff getting jobs elsewhere. |

There are Saints assistants who get interviews, quite frequently, but I personally think a lot of the outside interest in our assistant coaches kinda died down after the year when Coach Payton was suspended for the whole season and we sucked so bad. I mean in that situation it was really obvious for everyone to see.
