I get that GW wasn't the most innovative Defensive Coordinator ever but he did one thing that changed our D, he altered their mindset.
Every play was an opportunity to steal the ball and you saw that in their play, didnt always work out but it won us a ton of games when it did. Anyone care to remember the 2007 and 2008 Gary Gibbs Defenses? They did what Allen's D does now, blows a late lead. |
