Falcons beat writer: $450M not enough for Saints to fix 'dump' Mercedes-Benz Superdome
 

A day after details were released about the Mercedes-Benz Superdome's $450 million makeover, a beat writer for the Atlanta Falcons wasted no time sending jab across the NFC South.

Jeff Schultz, who covers the Falcons and other teams for The Athletic, called the Superdome a "dump," though he made sure to let the city know it's nothing personal.

"I love the city, the food and the people," Schultz tweeted. "But there's 2 things I know about New Orleans: 1) The stadium is a dump; 2) $450 million won't fix that."

The Superdome is anything but a dump. I'd rather see a game there than at that anus looking piece of **** the Falcons call home.

Anyone wonder why the falcons decided to put a CFA in the stadium when they are closed on sundays? These are the type of people we are dealing with.

Aaaand the Falcons are basically a "dump" in their stadium.

One other thing Schultz...money can fix the Dome. Money can't ever erase 28-3. We won't ever let that happen.

I've been to the "other" MB stadium several times, and it is state of the art. There is also ZERO feel or atmosphere.
The soccer games are intense, but still 1/10 of what the Superdome offers.
