Why the hell did they release him????

I'd love for the Saints to grab him...........but aren't we already overcrowded at WR?

If, and only if, the Saints grabbed him...

We'd have:

Horn
Stallworth
Hakim
Gardner
Beerman
-----------

Devery Henderson
Nathan Black
Nate Poole
Other Rookie FAs, fighting for #6.

Even if we kept 6 WRs, Black would have a hard time cracking that lineup

Nathan Black for President! I loved that guy and he did play real well in pre-season last year.

We need to sign this kid and cut Hakim, who can't catch a cold, and Henderson, who also can't catch a cold.
We have deep speed with Stallworth, Lewis. We have a good catcher in crunch time in Horn. We have size in Gardner. We need our version of Stokely for the Colts.

I've heard absolutely squat about Nate Poole so far...

We hear about Gardner and Hakim, but never Poole..

What's up with this guy?

P.S.....I'm all for the saints signing my former classmate........but can he really beat out Hakim or Henderson?????

OF course, if Henderson keeps dragging ass like they say .....maybe Nathan would have a shot?

I'm a bit concerned that Nathan got cut before the first preseason game...

Wonder how he was looking in practice??
