Re: Sean Payton optimistic about David Onyemata's status; Saints player cited for pot possession
The article says he had hemp powder. Hemp powder is legal in all 50 states and can legally be shipped by USPS anywhere in the country as long as it has less .03% THC. The hemp is bred so it has high levels of CBD but very little THC. You can walk into stores in New Orleans and get it. Hopefully the oil was CBD oil and the ounces were hemp flower buds. Hemp flower buds are identical to marijuana but also have higher levels of CBD and less than .03% THC. They police can test it to find out.
It very well have been the real deal but it’s 2019. States are dropping this draconian law one by one. One day they will admit that while opiates and benzodiazepines are great for the pharmaceutical companies they are horrible for patients. A little pot can work wonders for pain, anxiety and depression and is a much safer alternative than the above. The XFL isn’t testing for it. About the only good idea they have had. |
