I will eat major crow on this one. Last year I said he wouldn’t be productive and could never be a QB in the NFL.
I was wrong. He’s been productive at every position he plays, gives 110%, and is probably one of the most unselfish players I’ve seen. With the right coaching he may even be able to play Qb at an above average level. I just love the guy. When he hits you he hits you hard and mean. I like that. He will be a great asset for us UNLESS Payton gets cute and predictable with him. That’s my only concern. Payton has a tendency to draw from the well one to many times. |
