The Real Deal/McCoy
If Eric McCoy starts which I’m a believer after a string of days delivering the rock to Brees. This is a rock solid pick if we ever pulled one (ala) karmara . To me anyway it makes up the extra #1 we canned to get Davenport. What a great pick again by Payton and the mickster he starts this season.

Re: The Real Deal/McCoy
I’ve heard on several occasions that the offensive line has had trouble creating a pocket for Brees to step up into. This could be a problem if it continues because that’s when Brees is at his best. Not saying it’s a direct reflection on McCoy, just something to look out for during the preseason.
That being said there seems to be a question mark or two along the line every season and every season we field a top offensive line when healthy. |

There really isn't anything you can tell about the offensive line until the third preseason game and even that doesn't tell the final story. As you said, they always seem to field a top squad every season so why worry?

McCoy's a big Center and runs a 4.58 40 yd dash same as Kamara.

Re: The Real Deal/McCoy
We're waiting to see if Peat is the real McCoy this year. He looked bad in conditionings.
