Ozigbo could be out of here for that fumble. He redeemed himself but Payton regards fumblers with extreme prejudice. If that happens again during PS he is certainly gone I know that much.

Aaron Rogers needs to tell Taysom Hill to "Get Down" when that happens Hill will become "Super Star" Oh wait, Hill was on the same team as Rogers and he must have told him "Don't slide you can take it"

Cutting and losing Hill pounded a few nails in McCarthy's "casket"

That fumble was caused by a helmet to the ball. Chris Ivory had 4 fumbles in his first year and had a 3 year stint as a Saint. I also remember in the first NFC championship game a WR #12 having the ball ripped out of his hands after a catch in the red zone. He retired as a Saint.

I also recall Ingram getting benched for Hightower for fumbling. He put our best RB on the pine. But yes, if you go back to they way back time machine he was more forgiving. He's not anymore. If Ozigbo fumbles again, helmet or no helmet I stand by he's outta here.

Different teams, different times.

I guarantee you if Ozigbo has "issues" with ball security going forward, he'll be a ghost in New Orleans. Ask Lasco and Marcus Murphy.

+1. Precisely.

I agree with everything you just stated.

I can see us keeping 4 RBs:

Kamara
Murray
Washington
Ozigbo

Zach Line will be back at FB.

Rodgers, Williams and any other flavour of the week will be gone.

But I think we all could live with a fumble every now and then if he plays like he did last night!

Well, that's why they found him a job on special teams, they could see he was seriously quick, sudden...

Again, just like with Dan Arnold, many of these guys the Saints felt were mis-cast and are trying to fit them into a new position, just starting out at the NFL level...

It'll require a lot, a lot of work, but the rewards will be awesome, and needed with the obvious cap cramp we're coming to with our latest draft hauls...

I'm not sold on Washington - he blew kick coverage twice yesterday; the INT at the goal line was on Bridgewater, but it hit him in the hands, albeit behind him...

Rodgers has been with the team for only two (2) weeks and was put in immediately, including that 2-minute drive where we saw the best of Bridgewater...

After two PreSeason games, while Ozigbo is promising, Nebraska didn't do enough to develop him - I can see why the back end of the RB depth chart should be affixed with a turn-style...
