Chris Banjo was bad today.

He left the door open for Saquan Hampton to make this team.

Got that right. Banjo was picking his nose today. Hampton is bigger, faster, and cheaper. Banjos money is Special Teams, but he can't turd it up as secondary depth.

Getsom Taysom shows what he's got and Devine was just devine! Taysom will be our next QB!

Bridgewater struggles = Bridgewater sucks again. In fairness to Bridgewater, we as against the first 2 teams of the Chargers without our best receivers. But still... he sucked.

Except for that fumble...

Justin Hardee has real upside and I wish we'd give him a real chance at CB instead of relegating him to special teams. The guy has impressed me since the first time I saw him on the field. You may think me crazy, but I think he could be the answer to our No 2 CB as I believe he has higher upside than Eli Apple.

Time for Banjo to move on.

He did, but now that I dig into my previous bias a bit... What does he do great? He really hasn't had any standout performances for us. He has been serviceable and that's good for a backup QB, but I can't say he is the next 'guy' for us (I used to think that). It taking this performance as a stand alone, I started to go sour last year when he started against Carolina and sucked...

Looking back on it, I have nothing to base my opinion on of him being the guy.

So far, Teddy has not lived up to his salary cap hit. If we had let him walk during the offseason, we probably get a compensatory pick, third rounder potentially. JT Barrett looked every bit as good if not better, and he's not even on the team right now.
