Actually, they have a history of it.

Matt Ryan is the only active QB in the league with 5+ blow leads of a 17 point lead or more.

What a ****ing roller coaster.

Hopkins toasted Lattimore all night.

Wow

What a game

A second corner next year is a must.
Going to see plenty of Williams and Apple getting abused.

He did but he will do that to just about every CB.

Name a corner that wouldn't get that treatment

Exactly, lls did he expect Lattimore to shut him down?

Not even the NFL stopped us from winning that one. Lutz is incredible!

Lutz is gonna need a wheelbarrow to carry those balls.

Re: Texans @ Saints MNF Game Day Thread

PJ is great inside of 15 yards...other than that you better have a safety helping over the top.

A apt choice of song for the night.

Otis would have been 78 today and the happy song

Ginn showed me something tonight, played with real savvy. We really needed that. And damn Lutz pounded that winning FG like it was a kickoff, there was no doubt even when it was 30-40 yards away from the goalposts. Stole one!

I must say that Watson Hopkins combo is tough to defend.

Poor Otis dead and gone
Left me here to sing his song
Pretty little girl with the red dress on
Poor Otis dead and gone

He obviously needed help. There’s a thing called a double team that Bill Belichick and the defending Super Bowl champs like to use to slow down players like that.

And stop it. I’m like the only person on the forum who wanted us to draft Lattimore. I know what he’s capable of.

Jared Cook isn’t actually that good. He’s disappeared pretty regularly throughout his career.

Really need Davenport to start showing why so much was invested in him. Especially with no Rankins. Lucky Onyamata is back next week. Got gashed a fair few times in that first half. Hopefully him and Brown ready to go soon

JJ Watt did not record a single stat tonight. Seriously, not even a tackle.

Going to see plenty of Williams and Apple getting abused.

We saw it last year in specific games. Apple was abused by Dak Prescott throwing to Amari Cooper in the Cowboys game. Big Ben also abused him when we played Pittsburgh.

Think there was only the one play he would have got to Brees had Ramczyk not held him. It was a good penalty and he more than held his own again

Yeah it's the one worry.
Hopefully someone will step up.

I'm not surprised about Apple. Honestly all the talk around that time was us trading for Patrick Peterson. We got Apple instead, he makes the safeties job a lot harder and cant tackle.

Conversely, Lattimore gave up a few against arguably the best WR in the game, but he tackled really well and played hard.

Hopefully with Onyemata amd hopefully Brown back next week this stops. It help the defense so much last year shutting down RB.

Apple gave up a big play early. Never to be heard from again. Which is great.

I was about to say the same thing. He’s not an elite cornerback or whatever but the guy gave up one big play and that was pretty much it. Will Fuller isn’t an easy match up, nor is covering a guy 1 on 1 with no safety help over the top.

Re: Texans @ Saints MNF Game Day Thread

Happy the guys finally woke up and played ball. The secondary needs to regroup. Why they couldn't stop the Texans with 50 seconds left. I don't understand. They knew it was going to be passing plays. I'm concerned about them going into L.A. and Seattle.

Re: Texans @ Saints MNF Game Day Thread

Let’s roll Ken Crawley or PJ Williams back out there opposite Lattimore and see how that goes.
