Time to Eat Crow
I was 100% wrong on the NASCAR package. It was very effective. You could tell Watson was not prepared to deal with it most of the game. Thought he would have more time or easily escape. I do think if they had Clowney it would not have worked that great and that's what I was going off of before he was traded.
I was wrong about Latavious. Extremely rare long distance TD scamper but it was impressive. Didn't think the man still had the juice. I will say though they went away from him when the game got super tight which they should. It's going to be interesting to see if they try to preserve him with a lead or use him more. If they use him like a bowling ball with a good lead probably not ideal for him. |

Kamara had more carries than Latavious, probably due to the circumstances of the game. It was good to see that long TD run from Latavious, something we had seen in his highlight reel.

Re: Time to Eat Crow
Today is probably not a day to rant on Dennis Allen, however ....
He has to call a better defensive game plan inside of 50 seconds & no timeouts for an offense. We have too many 1st -4th rounders on the defensive side not to be able to defend the end zone better. Also the inability to get the D off the field on 3rd down is a concern. It's happening more than a few times on his watch. Fix this ... please? |

I love the confidence, but the only corner I’d be comfortable seeing that from in that situation is Jalen Ramsey.

I know people complain about the dime package, but that would've been the best time to use it. Not the first time he's blew it like that. Brought back memories of the hail mary the Vikings pulled on us in the playoffs. |

I don't know what else could have been done. Watson and Hopkins are two of the toughest to stop. We sacked the hell out of him, hurt him and still...Hopkins making circus catches. For the first game our D did a good considering what they were up against.

The Texans look like a carbon copy of us last year. It’s the Watson/Hopkins show. Will bite them in the end.

Idk about that. Will Fuller and Kenny Stills are legit. Carlos Hyde and Duke Johnson are a legit combo. It’s offensive line issues holding them back. You can’t give up 6 sacks. EVER.

Watson was unbelievable, staying in there and delivering the ball. Hopkins was Hopkins, but IMO was given too much space and too little attention. He was wide open several times |
