That's literally what happened last night, we are extremely lucky to be honest. Until Payton does something about it, we are doomed to repeat the same mistakes.
I’m dropping 5 deep and blitzing 6. Make ‘em get it out quick and have to make a play. I’m not a fan of Dennis Allen’s play calling.

He has to call a better defensive game plan inside of 50 seconds & no timeouts for an offense. We have too many 1st -4th rounders on the defensive side not to be able to defend the end zone better. Also the inability to get the D off the field on 3rd down is a concern.

It's happening more than a few times on his watch. Fix this ... please?
He pressed man coverage in the situation with 50 seconds.

I know people complain about the dime package, but that would've been the best time to use it.

Not the first time he's blew it like that. Brought back memories of the hail mary the Vikings pulled on us in the playoffs.

I was wrong about Latavious. Extremely rare long distance TD scamper but it was impressive. Didn't think the man still had the juice. I will say though they went away from him when the game got super tight which they should.
It's going to be interesting to see if they try to preserve him with a lead or use him more. If they use him like a bowling ball with a good lead probably not ideal for him.
You are a better man than most and an example to BlackandGold...

Yeah, and the announcers were absolutely slobbering over Tunsil, who got blown up multiple times.

Watson was unbelievable, staying in there and delivering the ball. Hopkins was Hopkins, but IMO was given too much space and too little attention. He was wide open several times

Murray looked decent but I’m still not sold. I do think Payton was a little pass happy. Hope to see more of him against the Rams.
I will eat crow when it comes to the offensive line. Rami absolutely OWNED J.J. Watt. Protection was pretty good all game. Still a little concerned about depth but McCoy looks to be the real deal. I can see why they put him with the 1’s immediately and never looked back.

Yeah, We have have a hall of fame QB and all these play makers...

I think you have to make the call to not let them get the ball back. If the roles were reversed you don't put the ball in Bree's hands with 55 seconds left in the game.

Re: Time to Eat Crow

Speaking of the LA Rams ...

McVay had those guys in trips (3 WR's) & sometimes 4 receiver sets pretty much the entire game vs Carolina.

Dennis Allen has his work cut out for him on Sunday.
