No, you started a thread to start shi!. You know it. I know it. Anyone here that reads enough to know your history knows it. Still waiting on all these ghost threads you claim to have started with the intent of giving props for winning these "NFL Sanctioned Events" or playing in the Superbowl. I've already pointed out several players from Louisiana that won the most recent Superbowl and I've yet to see a thread you started for the sole purpose of giving props to da hometown boys. Rekon why that is? Oh, I know why. Because you can't start bull crap by mentioning their names. Don't think you're special Whodi. You're not the first nor will you be the last.

Me thinks you're full of crap.

And on another note, do ya think our defense might have sucked last year if we'd have kept Jake? LOL

You win saintfan. You have proven you are the biggest Jake hater on the board. There is no need for more. Did you miss the posts where I called for Rohan Davey to be our QB and Nick Saban to be our coach? Guess ya did. did you miss the threads I started about Devery getting the number three spot at receiver? I guess you did. No matter. This is petty. You hate Jake, and have shown us. Sad for you. Everyone else here has moved on and accepted that you have no love for Louisiana players unless they wear black and gold. It's sad for you that even when there is no mention of Aaron Brooks, you see his name and a slight towards him. Seek help. That kinda love will end up with you in his bushes fighting with Billy for a prime spot to peek in his window.

So let me try again. congrats Jake on winning the QB challenge. good to see a hometown boy do good. How many times did you see Aaron Brooks in that saintfan? I'm betting a whole lot.

For the record -- I also root for ALL college teams from LA -- whether I am a specific fan or not. Think that LSU winning the football title -- or Tulane making it to the World Series wasn't something all people from LA should be proud of. What about if John Breaux would have run for hogher office -- I am a Republican but chances are I would have worked for his campaign --

Still Waiting bud. I'm not going anywhere, so take your time. Remember, a thread YOU started with the sole purpose of giving props to a Louisiana player (defined any way you wish at this point) for winning an NFL Sanctioned Event or playing in a Superbowl. Otherwise, I guess there's really nothing left for you to argue about. I know you hate to get beat down. I think I'll start callin' you "crawfish". It's appropriate.

As for my "hating" Jake, there's proof otherwise, but you're either too lazy or not brave enough to go look it up. Again, I know you can't stand to be wrong, but that's ok. You'll bounce back I'm sure. I do find it interesting that you've somehow come to the conclusion that I hate Jake Delhomme. Was it because I wanted him to lose the Superbowl? See, I'm a fan of the New Orleans Saints which means I don't want any other team in their division to do well...ever, period. I hate the Panthers as much as I hate the Falcons as much as I hate the Bucs...can't frappin' stand any of 'em and I pull for them to lose lose lose, regardless of who's on those teams. That doesn't mean I don't like some of their players or respect their ability. I suppose you're just to too shallow to grasp that concept huh? No matter.

Here's one for ya crawdad. I went to High School with Kevin Mawae. I hate the Jets. I want them to lose. He knows it. Speaking of Kevin, here's a guy who graduated Leesville High School (that's West Central Louisiana -- about 2 hours south of Sheverport and about an hour North of Lake Charles) AND LSU and is considered by many to be the best center in football and has been considered as such for MANY years now, but never not once have you ever started a thread giving him his props. How come? Here's just a little about Kevin:

2003: Named to his fifth straight Pro Bowl as he extended his consecutive games started streak to 155 games and led the way for RB Curtis Martin’s 1,308 rushing yards on the season, completing his sixth season in the Green and White without missing a start.

2002: Started all 16 games at C for the eighth season in a row, running his consecutive games started streak to 139 games, including all 80 games since signing with the Jets in 1998 ... Also earned his fourth start in the Pro Bowl in as many years ... Started both Jets post-season games including 41-0 win over Colts in Wild Card Game.

2001: Started all 16 games at center for seventh consecutive season (fourth with Jets) ... Started the AFC Wild Card game at OAK, at C and helped to power the Jets offense to 410 total yards (136 rushing and 274 passing).

2000: Started all 16 games at C for Jets and did not miss a snap during the season ... Earned his second straight starting assignment as the AFC's C for the Pro Bowl squad and anchored an OL which tied IND for the fewest sacks allowed during the regular season (20), helping the Jets offense become one of the most dangerous in the NFL, averaging 337.2 yards per game (12th best OL in the NFL) ... The passing offense, which averaged 245.3 yards per game, was sixth best in the league ... The offensive line shut out opposing defenses five times in the sack category, the best mark in the league.

1999: Named to his first Pro Bowl on 12/22, and started every game and anchored the Jets OL ... Didn't miss a play for the second straight season ... Helped paved the way for RB Curtis Martin's then club-record 1,464 yards rushing and snapped to four different QB during the season (Vinny Testaverde, Tom Tupa, Rick Mirer, Ray Lucas).

1998: Played and started all 16 games at C in his first season as a Jet and did not miss a snap all season ... Was an integral member of an offense that averaged 357.2 yards per game (second-best in the AFC and fourth-best in the NFL), while controlling the ball for an average of 32:17 minutes per game (second-best in the AFC and third-best in the NFL) ... The offense also was one of the highest scoring units in the NFL ... Helped RB Curtis Martin run for a Club-record eight 100-yard rushing days en route to a 1,287 yards rushing campaign.

1997: Took part in 99.5% of the Seahawks' offensive plays (missing only five snaps all season) while starting all 16 games at C ... Directed an offensive line which helped achieve Club records for total yards and passing yards. The Seahawks' 4,187 yards through the air led the NFL ... Line allowed just 36 sacks in 645 attempts (one every 18 attempts) to rank fifth in the league.

1996: Started all 16 games at C for Seattle, making the switch from RG and only missing 10 plays all year (none due to injury) ... Anchored a line which allowed 38 sacks, the Club’s fewest since 1988, and served as long snapper on FG and PAT.

1995: Started all 16 games at RG, while seeing time at C in two games for Seahawks.

1994: Played 14 games as a rookie with Seattle, starting the final 11 at RG ... Saw first pro action at RG against the Raiders and never left the lineup after taking over early in the game vs. IND ... Earned first-team All-Rookie honors from Pro Football Weekly/Pro Football Writers Association, College and Pro Football Newsweekly, and Football News.

College Career

A four-year starter for the Tigers, selected second-team All-SEC by the Associated Press and SEC coaches as a senior ... Moved from LT to C for all 11 games of his senior year ... Played in the Blue-Gray Game and Senior Bowl ... Played LT as a junior and was chosen second-team All-SEC and third-team All-America ... Was a first-team All-SEC choice as a sophomore, playing three different positions-LT (eight games), C (three games) and LG (one game) ... Started seven games as a freshman at LT and was Freshman All-SEC ... Was also the long snapper ... Redshirted in 1989.

Personal Bio

Kevin and his wife, Traci, have a son, Kirkland and a daughter, Abigail ... Born in Savannah, GA but moved to LA ... His late brother, John, played NG at LSU ... Father is retired from U.S. Army after 26 years of service ... Serves as a spokesman and an advocate for The David Center for autism research and has co-founded "Touchdowns for Special Kids," a program in which all the members of the Jets' offensive line contribute money for each offensive TD scored during the season, and Bowling with the Jets, a fundraiser to benefit The David Center ... Every year Mawae holds a raffle/auction to raise money for a scholarship in his brother’s name and his high school ... In 2003 Mawae auctioned off a Super Bowl trip to San Diego that raised $8,600 ... For Thanksgiving, 2002, Mawae purchased 125 "Boxes of Love" for the Glad Tidings Tabernacle in Bedford-Stuyvesant. Each of the boxes was filled with a complete Thanksgiving meal and a personalized message from Kevin ... Selected to join the NFL’s Diversity committee in 2003 ... Hobbies include golf, bowling, hunting and fishing ... Calls the day he signed his letter of intent to play at LSU and the day he signed to become a Jet the most memorable moments of his athletic career ... Favorite activity is spending time with family ... Took children holiday shopping at Toys R Us ... Kevin is featured in the Jets/Purina Pets for People 2004 calendar for the month of July ... Attended the Club's Taste of New York the last two years.

I guess he's just another player you missed eh? Now that's a resume' even the Great Jake Delhomme would be proud of don't you think? I just can't understand, you being such a supporter of hometown players and all, how you managed to let Kevin slip underneath your radar. Didn't you want the Jets to miss that field goal last year...or did you? DOH!

It takes a real man to admit his real intensions. My aim here has been to expose this particular thread for what it is, which was an attempt to start crap. You should be thrilled. This is success Whodi. Why, just look at the crap your little Jake Delhomme Thread started! Had Jake Delhomme never been on the Saints roster I'd bet you wouldn't have started this post, and you know it. Ooooooo, I bet that stings. LMMFAO

C'mon Man...

Great for Kevin. Since I just joined in 2004, exactly how many threads should I have started about him and what has he done recently to deserve one? Oh, nothing? Big X, you lose again.

Seriously, why do you keep trying? YOU go look up the posts I have made. Put in the search, Devery Henderson and saintswhodi. Then do the same for Nick Saban. I found then easy enough. Even posted the Saban one. Even found one with me giving props to Rohan Davey. You can even find posts by me praying we went after Ben Wilkerson as an unrestricted FA after the draft. Sorry saintsfan, I know you feel you have made some moral stand, but you are just coming off as foolish. Seems like everyone here knows what I am saying except you, and boy am I not surprised in the least.

I got another one for you though man. Look at this sentence:

Jake won the QB challenge. That's a victory for the people of Louisiana right there. How many times do you see Aaron Brooks? Is he smiling in this sentence? I am sure if you somehow rearranged the words you could even make his name out of some of the letters in that sentence. Give it up. You have proved nothing except your irrational belief that every thread that isn't about Aaron Brooks, is actually somehow about Aaron Brooks. This isn't the Manchurian Candidate and there is no conspiracy Denzel. But I am sure Aaron appreciates your paranoia on his behalf.

PS, seriously, stop hating Jake. It's not healthy. He's a nice guy and he represents our state very well. I know you wish they find him knee deep in a crack sale to elementary school kids, but he is genuinely a good guy and does not deserve this kind of ire. Get yourself in a program, and let it go. No need to have a small man complex when it comes to Jake, I am sure he would be nice to you if he knew you.

Okay crawmom. Like I said, go look for yourself. I posted links to threads. I also told you how to find them. I also said RECENT news. There is nothing I have to prove to you. Try to discredit someone else, you have no legs to stand on here. Oh, except your love/hate relationship with Jake you tried to pass to me. LMAO.

Still Waiting...no link to a single thread you started for the sole purpose of praising a Louisiana player for having done...well...anything...oh, except for Jake Delhomme (primarilly because none exist). And you have the nerve to accuse me (or anyone else) of "Brooks Love"? You claim to have started these "ghost" threads. I didn't accuse you of having started them, so, go get 'em boy. Fetch 'em crawdad.

And again I wonder, had Jake never been on the Saints Roster if you'd have started this thread. Money says no, but then you'd have to be honest before we could ever know for sure, and I know about you and being honest.

And the wait continues.

C'mon Man...
