RE: It
Pretty good for a quarterback who was not good enough to fill in for an injured Brooks when the Saints had the chance to make the play offs . |

Oh yes - lets play this game again. It's one of my favorite.
Care to compare Jake's numbers last season to Brooks? Care to compare the rate at which each QB progressed from his first as a starter to his second? Care to compare winning percentage, playoff appearances, Super Bowl appearances? Attitude, leadership, commitment, heart???? Please make your argument why AB is a better QB than Jake. I'd love to "discuss" it with you. LOL |

Halo --
Could we open up yet another forum...this time we could call it the "Deciples of Jake" Forum so that folks that wanna come to a Saints Web Site and prop up another team's QB have a place all their own to do it? Just a thought. |

.. the QB challenge is merely a promotional venue for both the NFL and EA, and there is really not much translation between it and a football game..
... that said, after 5 years, I still don't get the animosity towards Jake Delhomme... ... from the "he'll be an eternal clipboard holder in the NFL" -circa 2000, when he actually was a Saint and Aaron Brooks was still in Green Bay- to now ... ..BonB, didn't you win the QB challenge in 2003, or was it just the long throw competition? |
