Then lets not add any more of it. I just sick of players acting up, demanding trades, holding out and trying to run the show.
You play a game and get paid handsomely to do it. If that is not to your liking as a player then quit and get another job. McDonalds is always hiring if you didn't get your degree.

They earned the right to get paid handsomely. Nobody handed it to them. These guys are at the top of their positions in a business that barely employs 1,000 athletes. They don’t have to quit. They can leverage the demand for their skills into whatever situation they want; proven by Antonio Brown. If you’re the best of the best you have power. I’m glad they’re realizing that.

The thing is thou that the league could get rid of 10-20 of the absolute top players and people would still watch. there would be *****ing and moaning but that'd be gone in a month.

Then I want to see them do it. Let’s see them let go of the top 10 to 20 players so they can go to the XFL.

Aaron Donald
Drew Brees
Khalil Mack
Pat Mahomes
Todd Gurley
Tom Brady
Antonio Brown
Aaron Rodgers
Julio Jones
Von Miller
DeAndre Hopkins
JJ Watt
Alvin Kamara
Bobby Wagner
Saquon Barkley
Phillip Rivers
Ezekiel Elliott
Tyreek Hill
Travis Kelce

That’s the top 20 as chosen by the players. I’d love to see that scenario play out.

I am rather confident that the NFL would endure that.

Agreed. Based on the same principle that sh1tty music sells out concerts. The part of the fanbase that is knowledgeable, is a very small percent of the total revenue generating fan-base that has no clue but throws money at it.

NFL fans show up to watch scabs, of course they would show up if 3 of their 53 man roster were not on the field.

Totally agree. Here is what I believe is the deal on that. If you can play, Payton always has room on the roster for a couple of head cases or screwballs every year. What he DOESN'T do, is let the inmates run the asylum, or let the crazy or troublesome ones dictate the nature of the team, in the locker room, and he keeps the head cases on a very VERY short leash.

This has been true as long as he's been here. He's not averse to taking risks on screwball or "difficult" type players, he will bring them in, give troubled players second chances, etc. But he is VERY very careful and risk averse about the number of them in the locker room at any given time, and he never lets them gain critical mass on the roster, or dictate their own crazy baggage onto the team, or take away from his overall messaging.
