Re: Jalen Ramsey
Well it goes to show that we can put this discussion to rest. No way that we can give that up IMHO. We need those two picks to keep building the team.

From Wikipedia, Minkah Fitzpatrick deal...
...On September 16, 2019, the Dolphins traded Fitzpatrick along with their 2020 fourth round and 2021 seventh round draft picks to the Pittsburgh Steelers for their 2020 first round, 2020 fifth round, and 2021 sixth round draft picks... |

Agreed. Based on the same principle that sh1tty music sells out concerts. The part of the fanbase that is knowledgeable, is a very small percent of the total revenue generating fan-base that has no clue but throws money at it.
NFL fans show up to watch scabs, of course they would show up if 3 of their 53 man roster were not on the field. |

Re: Jalen Ramsey
Great player. Deserves to get paid. Too pricey all the way around for the Saints. Now, if they threw in Minshew................

This has been true as long as he's been here. He's not averse to taking risks on screwball or "difficult" type players, he will bring them in, give troubled players second chances, etc. But he is VERY very careful and risk averse about the number of them in the locker room at any given time, and he never lets them gain critical mass on the roster, or dictate their own crazy baggage onto the team, or take away from his overall messaging. |

Notable 1987 "SPARE BEARS" scabs Sean Payton (Quarterback) - coached the New Orleans Saints to victory in Super Bowl XLIV. Tommy Barnhardt (Punter) - Had a 14-year career with several teams. Lorenzo Lynch (Defensive back) - Had an 11-year career with 17 career interceptions. John Wojciechowski (Offensive lineman) - Had a 7-year career solely with the Bears. Glen Kozlowski (Wide Receiver/ Special Teams) - Had a 6-year career solely with the Bears. Mike Hohensee (Quarterback) - coached the Chicago Rush to the ArenaBowl XX championship. Mike Stoops (Safety) - former Arizona Wildcats head coach (2004-2011) and former defensive coordinator for the Oklahoma Sooners. |

Re: Jalen Ramsey
I think the only photo of Sean Payton you ever see in a football uniform, appears to be the Bears game against the Saints. In a weird way, I remember that game. It was just a scab game and nobody really knew what to think at the time, I think it might have even been the first game with the 1987 scabs (would have to look it up), but something about that game always stuck in my mind, and I've always remembered it. Long after other games were forgotten. Weird.
