It's gonna take some time with the O line. When Teddy is in rhythm, he'll do a lot more damage.

Amazingly, the defeat was the Seahawks’ first at home in September during Pete Carroll’s 10 seasons as Seattle’s coach. Carroll’s Seahawks were 15-0 at home in September coming into Sunday. Carroll, it appeared, somehow got hit in the face by a football during pregame warmups, leaving the coach with a large cut on the left side of his nose. Yes, it was that kind of day. Did we mention Drew Brees didn’t even play for the Saints? The idea that the Seahawks could not only lose to a backup quarterback at home, but lose in such stupefying fashion has been almost unthinkable throughout the Carroll era.

1. Teddy does not make receivers better like Drew does, he is an average NFL QB. This is not a knock on Teddy average in the NFL for a QB is huge but he isn't going to make others around him better.

2. Kamara/Thomas/Morestead will carry this team. What you think about kickers needs to be put aside and you need to recognize that Morestead does more to give opponents bad field position that any other player or group on our team including our defense, and that's crucial.

3. To anyone that ever thought Drew was replaceable without a huge drop off. Sorry, its a cliff.

4. Our O-Line is good but can be very sloppy.

5. Our offense lacks a leader without Drew on the field. Helmets should have been slapped yesterday and none were.

6. Our defensive secondary lives and dies on luck, not skill.

7. In spite of all of the above we won, and that is what winners do. If you need stars to align to win you are average at best

Depending how the Cards season unfolds, I'd make a call and see what it would take to get Patrick Petersen before the deadline.

If you're gonna spend that kind of draft capital, Jalen Ramsey is likely getting out of JAX...

Only possible complication is Payton having some communal loyalty to Doug Marrone, but if we'd had Ramsey yesterday, that'd been huge...
