It would have been easy for the team to pack it in and wait to get home. This team showed a lot of heart today. I'm proud. |

Very happy about the win today. I had a feeling the adversity (staying on the West Coast, Brees not in Seattle) might lead to them banding together and playing inspired football. Apple gets my gameball for the forced fumble. That was the kind of extra effort we gave today that allowed us to prevail.

Most of the time when we win, I wake up pretty happy. The next day is great. Today though, for whatever reason, has something a bit extra. I'm really proud of what we did. The adage.. a win is a win... or whatever.. not necessarily true.

When i first saw the schedule and saw we had to face los angeles and seattle on the road, ppl at my work was wanting us to beat los angeles more than seattle and i was like i rather beat seattle more. We have been embarrassed too much by them with the beast mode and beast quake crap. It was great to beat them and break their september home undefeated streak. I woke up feeling like a million bucks this morning.
