I'm not drinking the Cowboys kool aid.

Re: Week 4 -Cowboys
I had this pegged as a loss with Drew in the game. Hate to say it but it will take a miracle to pull this one out. Better not start with penalties early. Especially at home.

Re: Week 4 -Cowboys
Of course, every game is different, but the last time we played the Cowboys and they held us to 10 points (WHICH EVERY TALKING HEAD AND COWBOYS FAN SEEMS TO BE TALKING ABOUT) was at the end of a long, brutal run of games, it was a Thursday night game on the road on a short week after playing the Falcons, and the Saints were already very banged up with injuries. We knew that game was going to be a tough slog going into it (short week of rest) and going into that Cowboys game last year, five of the Saints' previous six games were against either division rivals or playoff caliber teams. It was a long run, and the Saints were inevitably just running on fumes, no wonder they were flat and played a dull, uninspired game.
This is just a long-winded way of saying, don't read too much into the Cowboys' defensive performance against the Saints last year, or the Saints' offense with Drew sputtering against the Cowboys last year (if that's how you want to look at it). Obviously, the Teddy factor will be a huge unknown. But don't use the results of last year's game as a reason to be scared! DIfferent game, different year. |

Not enough downfield passing.
I'm afraid it's gonna look a lot like last year. Dallas 20, New Orleans 13 The only hope I'm holding out for is the Sean Payton revenge factor. It's real. Plus primetime game at home. Payton usually shows out. |
