If Aaron Rodgers had not regressed into a below average QB, Green Bay blows them out badly in that game. It was Rodgers crap play that kept killing drives for GB and keeping the Vikes alive in that game. Cousins is all time 5-22 vs teams with a winning record. If his name was Matt Ryan, no one on this forum would dare defend him. People are fooled by Cousins and have been fooled for years now cause he pads his stats in garbage time of blowout losses and will put up a great game against the trash teams on their schedule. Washington fans figured this out years ago and it don't look to have changed at all. They're a talented team, but they were a talented team last year too. Like last year, they are going to blow out the trash teams on their schedule, and then lay down and get destroyed by the good teams. They will go 8-8 and spend another season of people arguing about how great Kirk Cousins' stats are and blaming everything else on the team. I hate Minnesota as much as I do the 49ers though, so I enjoy their misery. |

And I understand that you like to throw around that stat about him losing to teams with winning records, but that doesn't necessarily translate to Minnesota. I'm pretty sure that almost everyone agrees that he was overpaid, but that is how it goes when only a certain number of QBs are FAs at a given offseason and the bidding war ensues over their emoloyment. I'd still argue that the Vikes are one of the stronger teams in the NFC. |
