this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Stop with the Hill should be QB nonesense. There is a reason he isn't starting over TB... you think he was that capable with SP as HC that would already be the case? Duh. Hill isn't as an accurate passer ...

Stop with the Hill should be QB nonesense.
There is a reason he isn't starting over TB... you think he was that capable with SP as HC that would already be the case? Duh. Hill isn't as an accurate passer as a lot of ya think he is. He is a read/opt QB. There is tape on Hill that doesn't support him being a starter. I am not sold on what I have seen from Hill when he was asked to be that QB to run this offense. |

Here's to hoping for some consistency with this unit. |

Tb is a safer bet and is the better Qb right now. I’m not convinced Teddy will be starting material but with the way our defense and ST is playing you couldn’t ask for a better backup. As I’ve said I think people are expecting him to perform as if he is the future. It would be nice to have the security of knowing what to expect life after Brees but for now Brees is still the Qb. Teddy doesn’t have to be the next Drew. Teddy just has to keep us in games. |

Hill is reckless though with running head first into big hits like Young was in his prime. (I never seen another mobile QB take hits like Steve Young. I think he is the reason there is so much emphasis now on QBs sliding after a run. Young would get battered by not sliding.)
Hill is here to run the trick plays that take pressure off Brees or Bridgewater. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. |
