I wouldn\'t take it that far Black and Blue, but I totally agree. We may as well walk to the podium and hand Tagliabue a card that says \"Can you just pick for us?\" if we select a QB with a 1st rounder.
It would be a supreme waste of time to draft a QB that high to use as a project. Our current QB is too young and talented to give upon yet. He puts up Pro Bowl numbers at times and if they can make him consistent, he will be one. He just needs a solid back up, healthy running back and a safety valve TE that can ctach and he\'ll be okay.
