Looking at these responses remind me of old yeller. Drew will cost more and he is worth it but it's time for teddy to take over after this season. Like Joe Montana left the 40whinners to the chiefs, Brees and Brady both will be playing for different teams next year. I see teddy growing and the team revolving around him this franchise will not die off when brees leave they will become stronger. Plus with Payton developing a bond with teddy and signed a new contract it is likely that Teddy will be the starter next year

In addition, we haven't won the last five games because of Bridgewater. We have won because of the defense. Teddy has done enough to keep us in the games and has minimized mistakes, but he has repeatedly missed the open receiver ... something Brees does not do. |
