It's actually silly that Brady is still in the game with a 26 pt lead in the 4th. Especially with that D. I guess they feel he earned it to pad his career stats which I think is even more dumb. He's the GOAT. Some extra stats won't change that fact anytime soon.

I think they were trying to break the yardage record for a QB against a single opponent. They flashed the stats. The all time leader is Dan Marino vs the Jets (the other 3 being Brady vs the jets and Favre vs the Bears and Lions both), and Brady came just 3 yards shy of passing him.

We are 5-0 with Bridgewater. I think I would rather bring Brees back after the bye, that way he is well rested.

We don't even know for sure how this injury is going to effect Brees and I fear him rushing back out there, may make a bad situation.

Save Brees for a playoff run and we could win it all.

If Brees is cleared to play, you play him - no brainer - This is the greatest, most prolific passer in the history of the National Football League...

Re: How does SP handle Brees return?

People keep throwing out the fact that Bridgewater was a pro bowl QB. He was a replacement QB, as was Jameis Winston that year.

Quarterback

Teddy Bridgewater (Vikings)
Derek Carr (Raiders)
Eli Manning (Giants)
Tyrod Taylor (Bills)
Russell Wilson (Seahawks)
Jameis Winston (Buccaneers)

"The 2016 Pro Bowl official roster has included 133 players, making it the largest roster in league history. With so many players dropping out of the game — because of injuries, the Super Bowl or plain ol' not wanting to — the NFL has had to dive deep into its roster of alternates.

Nearly every quarterback was replaced, including Carson Palmer, Aaron Rodgers, Ben Roethlisberger and Tom Brady, along with Super Bowl-bound Cam Newton. The Panthers had 10 total players selected to the Pro Bowl and the Broncos had four, but the teams can't send any ahead of Super Bowl 50."
