I don't think Gordon fit their offense. He is a home run guy, who has a better all around game than someone like Ted Ginn, but he's still a home run guy. That Patriots offense has become exceedingly dink and dunk oriented, and I suspect Gordon wasn't adjusting well to what they were trying to do.

Which probably irritated Belichick and Brady, and in turn might have led to some off the field issues between Gordon and members of the team. And if that is the case, it's not hard to understand why they would let him go. Gordon can definitely still play, he just needs to be in the right offense.

Some of you guys need to quit using the Patriots as examples.

They are OUTLIERS. No other franchise can do what they do consistently.

If the Pats are cutting bait with him as he's just about to get healthy and with their need at WR...there's something going on. I wouldn't be surprised to find out ANOTHER suspension about to come down, or a legal scandal or something.

Listening to some talking heads on NFLSirius - Patriots are going to wait to release him so that they dont have to face him in the SB with us, that puts him subject to waivers and we will never see him.. Non starter

stretch, they be more worried about facing him in say Baltimore or KC than any team in the NFC.

Well, I obviously misheard the waivers part of the story. Granted I am in ATL and the traffic here blows and can never pay too much attention to the radio.

MT needs some help, he is catching passes at a record pace, and just like Kamara, I don't want to see him over utilized and end up hurting the team. There is no TB or LM behind Thomas.

Meh. They guy cant stay on the field because he stays high as ****. He actually was gonna get suspended again to start this season but somehow got the commissioner to drop it.

My thing is this, if the Pat's don't want him mid season, wtf is wrong with the guy. He was making catches and seemed to be doing his job. Soooooo.....?????

No worries ... Pats aren't releasing him from IR until after the trade deadline expires.

We are at the bottom of the waiver order anyway.
